CODE OF CONDUCT

BE NICE

Make friends. Have fun commenting on catches. Share ethical fishing practices. Learn from each other. You know how to be kind.

BE SOCIAL TO GET FOLLOWERS

Being nice pays off. That's also how you get followers. So don't be afraid to comment when you see cool catches. And when you set your fishing location to Public, it's easier for people to follow you.

REPORT WHAT BUGS YOU

See an inappropriate catch, moment, or comment? Use the Report feature. We'll review and remove offending content as soon as possible. Thanks for your help.

TAKE ETHICAL CATCH PHOTOS

Always support your fish with two hands. You can support it from the stomach without hurting it. Please try not to hold the fish from the gills or jawbones.

Always keep the fish wet. If you're releasing it, do it right after taking the picture.

For a fish you plan to keep, please kill it in a quick and humane way.

SHARE GREAT MOMENTS

Maybe it's not a fish picture. Maybe it's just an amazing moment out on the water. Share it and feel the love.

ON FISH WEIGHT AND LENGTH

There are so many better things to comment on than the true size of a fish. If a catch looks exaggerated, report it. We'll take care of it.

DO CATCH AND RELEASE

We like Catch and Release. It's sustainable.

Keepers are fine, too. Just make sure you abide by catch limits.

If you see an illegal catch, please report it immediately.

ETHICAL FISHING AND REGULATIONS .

Follow all applicable local laws and fishing regulations. Respect private property. Practice Catch & Release as much as possible. If you keep some fish, don't be greedy.

If you see a spot that's on private property, please email support@fishbrain.com. We'll remove it from the map as soon as possible.
